Ballygally Castle Hotel, standing at the head of Ballycastle Bay, was built in 1625. It was constructed with local stone in the Scottish style, and was later extended and renovated. The ghost is reputed to be a former resident, Lady Isobel Shaw, who amuses herself by knocking at doors of different rooms. Located on Antrim Coast Road with beach opposite hotel, golf and fishing nearby.

Ballygally Castle is a historic building with modern amenities, excellent meals, helpful staff, open fires, sea views, and a resident ghost. It also serves as a convenient launching point for visiting the north coast and several Game of Thrones filming locations.
