The Banqueting House is near the Costwold Village of Chipping Camden on the edge of the Vale of Evesham – arguably the most beautiful corner of England. Nearby is Broadway, haunted by the ghost of Anne Boleyn. This building was erected in 1613, but burnt down by Royalist forces during the English Civil War. It has been lovingly restored by the Landmark Trust and can be rented by groups of up to six. It is an old building seeped in history and tradition. We have no ghost stories from this building itself – but the nearby towns and castles abound in spirits.
