The Bath Tower is part of the medieval walls of Caernarfon – Wales’ best preserved walled town. The fortifications were built by Edward I of England in the 1280s in an attempt to surpress Welsh rebellion.
The property has windows looking over the Menai Strait to Anglesey, as well as one looking into the town. In 1823 it was converted into a public bath house, but now can be privately rented.
Perhaps you will see the ghosts of English soldiers sent to guard the town against the native Welsh? In any case you can take in the Caernarfon ghost walk.
Prices range from £xxx in winter for a three night break. Please email for availability
