These two houses are next to the churchyard of St Bartholomew the Great, almost the only church to escape the Great Fire of London. They themselves date back to the Georgian Period and no 43 was home to the English poet, John Betjeman. Though not themselves haunted they are right in the middle of old London and a brief walk away from the hunting grounds of Jack the Ripper. They provide an atmospheric base in a part of London which is full of history, but rarely penetrated by visitors.

Prices from £ for a three week stay in the Winter.
